Most effective way to remove phosphates
Reducing phosphate levels in pools is easy with Natural Chemistry's patented Phosfree technology. Phosfree is formulated from lanthanum (rare earth) compounds. When added to the skimmer, a thin coating of Phosfree forms on the filter media. As pool water flows through the filter, phosphates are reduced to a very low level.
Directions for use:
This product is designed for use in properly balanced pool water.
Note: If DE filter pressure rises to 10psi above start-up pressure, turn pump off for 1 minute and then turn it back on. If pressure remains high, backwash or rinse for 30 seconds.
Dose per 10,000 gallons (38,000L)
300ppb or less
0.5L or 16oz
1L or 32oz
1.5L or 48oz
2L or 67.6oz
For DE & Cartridge Filters: Do not add more than 1.5L (48oz) at a time. If more than 1.5L (48oz) is needed to treat, be sure to clean or backwash the filter between treatments.
Important: Algae must be treated prior to testing and lowering phosphates. Chlorine must be under 5ppm before testing phosphates.
Instead of getting technical and trying to teach a science class explaining how enzymes work we will try to break it down more simply. Enzymes break non-living things down to smaller and smaller bits. Many non-living things are in pool and spa water; body oils, sweat, cosmetics and sunscreens to name a few. SMARTZymes contain thousands of enzymes with the potential to break down thousands of different non-living waste products in your water.
Natural Chemistry pioneered the use of phosphate removal technology long before it was popular. High phosphate levels in pool water can create many water issues. Most people today are aware of the efforts by government agencies to limit the use of phosphates in common household products due to their effect on water. Natural Chemistry has a variety of phosphate removal products that have been proven to make water care easier.
