Multi-Functional Formula
Killing and preventing algae while maintaining low phosphate levels is easy when using NC Pool Chemistry Algaecide + PHOSfree®. This product is used to control and prevent the growth of algae in swimming pools. This product may be used in chlorinated or brominated systems. This product will not foam and prevents all types of algae while removing problem-causing phosphate.

INSTRUCTIONS
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Read entire label and use strictly in accordance with precautionary statements and directions.
1. Ensure all equipment is working properly. Backwash the filter system or rinse cartridge following manufacturer’s directions.
2. Adjust chlorine residual to 1 – 4 ppm prior to re-entry. When using other products as outlines in directions for this product, always follow directions on those products.
3. Brush surfaces.
4. Determine appropriate dose. See methods below.
5. Add product directly to the pool deep end preferably in front of a water return with pump running.
Dosage recommendation is per 10,000 gallons of pool water
Prevent Algae
For treatment of a freshly cleaned and filled pool Pour directly into pool initial dose of 13 to 24 fl oz of this product. Make additions of 4 to 7 fl oz of this product every 5 – 7 days after initial treatment for maintenance.
Treatment of Visible Algae
For pools having algae growth Pour directly into pool initial dose of 24 to 32 fl oz of this product and circulate for 24 to 48 hours. Remove settled algae debris by cleaning.
Note: Water may temporarily cloud upon addition. Wait at least 15 minutes after use before swimming.
Re-entry into treated swimming pools is prohibited above levels of 4 ppm chlorine due to risk of body injury.
